Beztak’s Five Points Buzzing With Activity

What a difference a few months can make!  Construction continues on Beztak‘s new Five Points of Auburn Hills luxury apartment community, located on Five Points Drive between University Drive and Squirrel Road.  The first two buildings under construction (northernmost on the site), are targeted to begin leasing in the fall.

Today under sunny skies, workers were digging the pool just off the new clubhouse building in the center of the development.  Work continues on the inside of the clubhouse, which will house a social room, a bar area, and a large exercise room.

On the south east corner of the site, roof trusses will soon be set on the third apartment building, and slabs are already in place for construction to begin on the final three buildings on the south and south west corners (outlined in orange below).

Raise The Roof! Five Points Luxury Apartments Progressing

Late last week, construction crews hoisted roof trusses to the top of the first framed apartment building in Beztak Properties’ new $25 million Five Points of Auburn Hills development.  This luxury apartment community is located on Five Points Drive, between University Drive and Squirrel Road.

This week, construction will begin on both the second apartment building (which will sit closest to Five Points Drive) and the Clubhouse.  The Clubhouse will be nestled in the center area of the community and will feature a social room, bar area, exercise room and an outdoor pool with a sun patio.

Luxury Apartments Proposed In The Five Points Triangle

We’re pleased to report that Beztak Properties has submitted a development application to the City of Auburn Hills to construct a $25 million luxury apartment community called Five Points of Auburn Hills at 3300 Five Points Drive.

The new development will feature 178 residences in six, three-story buildings.  It will include garages and carports, a clubhouse and fitness center, pool, and park areas.  The project will improve the walkability of the area by adding a key pathway connection to nearby businesses and N. Squirrel Road.  The residences will consist of one, two, and three bedroom units ranging from 800 sq. ft. to 1,300 sq. ft.  Rental rates are anticipated to range between $1,100 and $1,700 per month depending on unit size and selected amenities.

This project will bring an ideal mixed use component and vitality to the master planned Five Points commercial district, which is located across from the City’s municipal campus and Oakland University.  It will be one of the “last pieces of the puzzle” for the district that currently hosts the North Oakland YMCA, along with a hotel, veterinary clinic, office and financial buildings, child care facilities, retail centers, and restaurants.

Those interested in learning more about this proposal are encouraged to attend the public hearing at the Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall.  A final decision on the project is anticipated to be made by the City Council on Monday, June 20, 2016.

If approved, construction is anticipated to begin this Fall.
