A Colorful Experience

Posted by – Stephanie Carroll, Manager of Business Development & Community Relations

Running isn’t something that comes naturally to me.  I have to work pretty hard at it. Some days are good running days and some days are downright awful.  I’ve learned that you gotta take the good with the bad.

Those that know me, know I love to run and do all kinds of crazy workouts.  So naturally I was super excited to hear that our Downtown Summerfest event has a 5K color run component this year.  I’ve never done a color run before, so I thought why not.

The Color Me Extraordinary 5K is an exciting new family friendly event taking place on the morning June 20th.  This event is hosted in partnership with the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce and Easter Seals.

This fun, family event is open to everyone.  If you’ve never run a 5K before, now’s your chance!  We want families and friends to come out and experience this together.  You can run, walk, skip, or do the electric worm and moonwalk if you want to.

Hope to see you on June 20th.  Ready, set, go!
