Blaze Pizza Opening A “Hot” Topic

Interest in the opening date for Blaze Pizza within the Auburn Hills Marketplace continues to grow and for good reason.  This fast casual pizzeria, known for making customized artisan pizzas in four minutes or less, is sure to be a hit.

The business is currently under construction in the retail space adjacent to Starbucks.  The oven, which is the primary piece of equipment for the restaurant, has already been installed.  We’re told the dome of the oven can reach 900 degrees, but the 600 to 800-degree oven floor is the key to making the crispy crust for the pies.  The contractors are currently installing the store’s interior lighting, wall tiles, and countertops.

The heat of Blaze Pizza’s oven allows the pizzas to be ready in minutes

If all things go according to schedule, the City will make final permit inspections the week of February 19th.  Once the inspections are complete, the owner expects to open the following week.  So, we’re about one month away from their grand opening.

Blaze Pizza is sure to be a hit

If you’re interested in knowing the exact date of Blaze Pizza’s grand opening and the special treat they will be offering customers watch out for a follow-up blog.  In the meantime, if you wish to learn more about the company, click here to visit their website.

It’s finally official!  Blaze Pizza was just issued a Building Permit from the City of Auburn Hills to begin construction on their new restaurant in the Auburn Hills Marketplace, which is located at the northwest corner of N. Squirrel Road and University Drive.  The eatery will be located next to Starbucks Coffee.

This fast casual restaurant is known for their fresh artisan pizzas that are made to order in less than four minutes.  Each pizza is cooked in a blazing hot oven that melts the cheese to perfect gooey consistency while creating that perfect crisp crust on which your personally selected toppings sit upon.

We look forward to announcing the date of their Grand Opening that should take place sometime in early Spring 2018.

The opening of the new Starbuck’s Coffee at University and Squirrel Road is just around the corner and there has been growing interest in who will occupy the other tenant spaces in the Auburn Hills Marketplace.  We are pleased to announce that…drumroll, please…Jersey Mike’s Subs, Blaze Pizza, 2941 Mediterranean Street Food and AT&T will join Starbucks.  Here’s what customers can look forward to.

Jersey Mike’s Subs, which started back in 1956 in New Jersey, is known for authentic tasting sub sandwiches made with high-quality ingredients and fresh-baked bread.  Hungry residents, employees and students alike can soon get a taste.

Blaze Pizza uses fresh ingredients to build pizzas from scratch as you call out your ingredients.  With a blazing hot oven, the pizza is ready In 180 seconds.

For those who drive through Auburn Hills on a regular basis, they more than likely have noticed an increase in the number of bulldozers, cranes and construction crews working on a number of sites scattered throughout the City.  This year the Auburn Hills City Council approved an estimated $170,305,000.00 worth of new developments, redevelopments and business expansions.  The 22 projects include an assortment of residential, commercial and industrial developments.

Two projects that receive the most public interest are the H.U.B. (Home of Urban Bowling) that will be moving into the old Big Buck Brewery and the Auburn Hills Marketplace shopping center that will include Starbucks as its anchor store.

Two new senior housing developments Villa Montclair (88 detached single-family homes) and Blossom Park (160 unit senior living center) will help fulfill the goal of the City’s Age Friendly initiative by providing a more diverse housing stock for the City’s growing senior population.
