If you’ve driven along Lapeer Road near Dutton in the last few weeks, you’ve probably noticed the beginnings of the City’s first new automobile dealership under construction. The southeast corner of Lapeer Road and Interpark Drive will be the home of Summit Place Kia of Auburn Hills. The modern, 25,749 sq. ft. building with enhanced landscaping will provide a nice visual appearance along the Lapeer Road Corridor.
Summit Place Kia has established a solid reputation in the automotive dealership industry and currently operates the top two Kia Dealerships in Michigan – outselling both Honda and Toyota. Once completed, the dealership is expected to create 25 new jobs.
The City looks forward to Summit Place Kia’s grand opening celebration which is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2017.
