An application has been submitted by Unique Fabricating, Inc. for Special Land Use Permit approval to allow their existing outside storage area to be increased in size. The property is located at 800 Standard Parkway

The company originally obtained approval to store returnable totes and wooden pallets outside their building in 2004. They now need to expand their storage area due to growth in business contracts. A new fence will be added along Collier Road, in addition to the existing trees, to better screen the site from view.

Unique Fabricating is an automotive die-cut fabricator of non-metallic materials supporting General Motors, Ford and FCA US, along with numerous Tier One suppliers.
Those interested in learning more about this proposal are encouraged to attend the public hearing at the Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 5th at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall. A final decision on the application is anticipated to be made by the City Council on Monday, October 24th.
