An application has been submitted to the City of Auburn Hills to renovate the existing Applebee’s restaurant, at 750 Brown Road, into an Aqua-Tots Swim School.
Aqua-Tots swim programs are designed to help children of all ages and abilities learn how to swim safely and develop a life-long love of swimming. The four swim programs offered include: parent & tot, beginner, intermediate and advanced.
Those interested in learning more about this proposal are encouraged to attend the public hearing at the Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 13th at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. A final decision on the project is anticipated to be made by the City Council on Monday, April 25th
Construction on the $900,000 renovation is expected to begin this spring with the grand opening taking place sometime this fall/winter.
