The three-story, 46,555 sq. ft. office addition and parking lot expansion at BorgWarner’s Powertrain Technical Center (PTC) is now complete!  This facility, located at 3800 Automation Avenue, is a real showstopper.

Last week, we celebrated this latest expansion of BorgWarner in Auburn Hills.  I say latest because this expansion comes on the heels of their new $1.6 million high-tech garage, which was completed in 2014.  The expanded tech center includes a friction material testing lab, a torque transfer testing lab, new office space as well as a wellness center and a 4,000-square-foot fitness center.

The event was attended by local officials and even Senator Debbie Stabenow joined the celebration.

BorgWarner moved its headquarters from Chicago to Auburn Hills in 2005 and has been a great company to work with.  They have received numerous awards for their accomplishments in their field.  We look forward to watching their continued growth and their innovation in powertrain systems.
