Earlier this week, several members of the Auburn Hills City Council and staff had the unique pleasure of receiving a guided tour of the newly opened Noah’s Event Venue from owner William (Bil) Bowser and his wife Susanna.
During the tour Bil humbly told us about how he saw a void in the event hall market and decided to go after it. Like a smart entrepreneur, he has developed a unique model that can be easily replicated across the country. Today, Noah’s has opened 22 venues nationwide with several more under construction or in the planning stages.
How is Noah’s unique? Well, it’s customizable. It has an upscale appearance, but can host a variety of events ranging from modest to elaborate depending on what the person renting the facility wishes to spend. They’re able to do it by offering numerous decorating options along with an “open vendor policy,” so people can bring in their own food caterers.
Susanna explained that they wanted Noah’s to feel like a home that people holding a business meeting, wedding, or family event would be proud to invite people into. Mission accomplished! Their attention to detail is like nothing we have ever seen before in a hospitality venue: hardwood floors, crown molding, arched hallways, state-of-the-art audio-visual systems, a stage that rises up from the floor … and the list goes on.
One of the coolest things was the facility’s moveable ceiling design, which allows people to hang decorations without using ladders. They thought of everything.
