Where Industry and Nature Co-Exist

In the heart of the City of Auburn Hills, there’s a unique place where commerce and nature blend together and co-exist.  It’s not your grandfather’s industrial park with smoke stacks, ugly buildings, and weed-filled concrete parking lots.

This place is called the Oakland Technology Park and it’s a much sought after spot due to its park-like atmosphere and convenience.  Located east of I-75 and south of University Drive, the corporate center is home to numerous wooded areas, wild turkey, and deer.  Now, it will host a fourth new headquarters building in as many years.

Sweden-based Atlas Copco will soon occupy their new U.S. Tools and Assembly Division Headquarters located at the southeast corner of Cross Creek Parkway and Deep Woods.  The $13.3 million, 120,000 sq. ft. facility is expected to be ready for move-in on October 1st.  Atlas Copco’s products and services include compressed air and gas equipment, construction and mining equipment, and industrial tools and assembly systems.  The company will employ approximately 225 people at the site.

Finishing touches are being done to prepare the Atlas Copco building for October 1st

Atlas Copco employees will love their new place of work and the surrounding beauty, especially as the leaves begin to change color on the trees.  The Oakland Technology Park is one of many successful business hubs that make the City of Auburn Hills a very strong community.  It’s fun to watch it grow.
