What’s Green and Weighs Over 700 Tons?

I’ll give you a hint.  It’s not the largest dinosaur that walked the earth, nor is it the color green (it’s more like thinking green).  It’s the amount of household waste Auburn Hills’ residents recycled in Y2013.  The actual amount is 736.4 tons.  To get a better picture, that amount would be equal to the weight of 420 SUV’s being diverted from our landfills.

This also means that residents recycled 204 tons more household waste than they did in 2012, a 38% increase.

Way to go, Auburn Hills!
