Trip of a Lifetime

Posted by – Steve Cohen, Director of Community Development

It was a great time together that we’ll never forget.

Our family just returned from an Out West Adventure that lasted two weeks and two days.  It was a blast!

Our itinerary included visits to Los Angeles, Hollywood, Walt Disney Studios, Universal Studios, Disneyland and California Adventure, Yosemite National Park, San Francisco, Alcatraz, Muir Woods National Monument, Jelly Belly Factory, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, and the Grand Canyon National Park … Whew!

We took over 2,000 photos.  Here are just a few:

Yosemite National Park was one of our favorite places.

We decided to climb Yosemite Falls. It was pretty scary for me.

We suprised the kids with a visit to the Jelly Belly Factory.

Drove an ATV up a mountain at my Uncle Tim's house near Lake Tahoe. A first for me.

I am very thankful for the talented team in the Community Development Department, along with my fellow co-workers in other Departments.  Although I was gone for quite a long time, they made my transition back into the office today smooth and easy.  They’re wonderful and very thoughtful.

Now … back to work.
