Paddlepalooza is back! Saturday, June 1st will mark the 5th anniversary of Paddlepalooza and your chance to join an expected 150 paddlers on an eight mile trip down the Clinton River.
The eight mile stretch from Riverside Park in downtown Auburn Hills to the River Crest Banquet Center in Rochester Hills, is one of the most scenic and challenging stretches of the river’s main branch. Participants often glimpse white tail deer and heron among other wildlife that reside along the river’s forested corridor.
For those who like more of a challenge, you may want to enter the eight mile one-person kayak race or the eight mile two-person canoe race.
Participants will receive a free t-shirt, raffle ticket and a lunch ticket before launching their watercraft in the early morning. The finale takes place near the patio at the River Crest Banquet Center which overlooks the river. Lunch will be served and awards and prizes will be presented between 11am and 1pm.
