Busy Night Ahead for the Planning Commission

Posted by – Steve Cohen, Director of Community Development

I’m sure the members of the Auburn Hills Planning Commission will tell you that they’re never bored serving our community.  It seems like their work is never done.

As a little background, the Planning Commission is a citizen board made up of nine residents who are appointed by the Mayor and City Council.  They’re essentially volunteers (receive a very small stipend) who serve as a “sounding board” for the City Council by holding public hearings and making sure land use and zoning proposals meet Auburn Hills’ high standards.
