A & S RV Center – A Camper’s Dream Come True

Posted by – Steve Cohen, Director of Community Development

This past weekend my family went on a short camping trip to Harrisville State Park.  Going to that park is an annual tradition for our family, since it’s the location of our first camping experience.

When my wife and I decided to start camping, we took baby steps and bought a nice tent.  A year later, we purchased a used pop-up trailer, which felt like a hotel room compared to our tent.  Let’s just say, we lived through one too many thunderstorms in that tent during the summer of 2006.

Beyond the joy of “making fire” and family bonding time, one of the best things about camping is people watching and checking out other folks’ recreational vehicles.

This past weekend, I have to admit that I daydreamed a little about upgrading to a nicer, bigger trailer.  Ah, maybe someday …

Well, it is nice to know that when my family is ready for a new camper, we can purchase it right here in the City of Auburn Hills.

A & S RV Center is a family-owned and operated RV dealership located at 2375 N. Opdyke Road.  This place is like a camper’s dream come true, offering every type of trailer and motor home a person would ever desire.  They are known for being one of the finest RV dealerships in Michigan with almost 10 acres of outdoor display area, a state-of-the art indoor showroom, a large service department, and a fully stocked parts and accessories store.  We helped company President Larry Andree navigate the City’s approval process and expand his business in 2003.

Not sure if you are ready to purchase a RV or if camping is right for you?  Perhaps, rent a trailer or motor home this summer from A & S RV Center.  You will not regret it.  Many people find “RV-ing” incredibly fun because you can experience the great outdoors, with the convenience of modern amenities and a dry bed.

It’s kind of like cheating, but that’s OK.
