We’re Leaders in the “Comeback State”

We’re not bragging, just celebrating!

The City of Auburn Hills is pleased to report that the new world headquarters for Henniges Automotive is now complete and occupied.   The $10 million state-of-the-art facility is located at 2750 High Meadow Circle in the Oakland Technology Park.  The auto supplier will employ 140 people at the site.

Our team completed the project’s final walk-through with the contractor, General Development, on Tuesday with no major issues.  In the end, there was a real sense of satisfaction for all involved.  This is just another example of how Auburn Hills works collaboratively with the private sector to attract business, which in turn brings new jobs and tax revenue to the community.

Last week, Governor Rick Snyder opened the Detroit Regional Chamber’s 2012 Mackinac Policy Conference stating, “Michiganders are too humble. We don’t brag well.  We have to speak up more.  We are the comeback state in the United States right now.”

Well, this Little Big Town has been a proven leader in Michigan’s economic comeback. Now, that’s something to talk about!
