I absolutely love watching those home makeover shows and I’m always amazed how quickly the renovations are completed. The moment of the big reveal is always so exciting! Similarly, the adaptive reuse of vacant industrial buildings is becoming the norm in the development world these days.
We’re pleased to announce that Edscha Automotive will be moving their new NAFTA region headquarters and manufacturing facility to Auburn Hills. They’re currently renovating the former Dokka Fasteners facility at 2800 Superior Court, which became vacant in late 2015. I had been in the facility when it was occupied and I was blown away by the work going on last week inside the building … and even more impressed that they plan to occupy the building by November and begin production in January 2017.
A look inside the building
As you can see, there is a lot of work yet to be completed, but it’s exciting to imagine how it will all come together. I can’t wait to see the finished product. If you know someone who is looking for a job, Edscha Automotive is having a Job Fair on October 14th, click here for more information.
The company makes a variety of products such as door. hood, and lift gate hinges for vehicles
Welcome Edscha Automotive to the Auburn Hills community!
